The Mission of Stage 1 Theatre is to promote, advertise and encourage participation in the theatrical arts, to develop and present performing arts productions for the community, and to promote the cultural growth of the community in the Tri-City area. Stage 1 Theatre is a non-profit community theatre group located in Newark, California. Stage 1 has been performing works of comedy, drama and musical theatre in the East Bay for more than 15 years. All performances are performed in the Main Theater or the Black Box Theater at Newark Memorial High School, located at 39375 Cedar Boulevard. For our Board of Directors and Staff listing, click here.
